While not many know of the name Preston Mutanga, looking at his track record the boy is onto a steep climb. The 14-year-old contributed to the $235 million film that many of you would have rushed to catch on the big screen.
Mutanga is from Toronto, Canada and he landed a job in the ¡®Across The Spider-Verse¡¯ production team of animators when producers Chris Lord and Phil Miller saw the boy¡¯s frame-for-frame remake of the film¡¯s trailer in the style of LEGO blocks, they were completely dazzled and wanted him onboard. Definitely not too shabby for your industry debut.
The boy uploaded his version of the trailer to Twitter on Jan 2, and that¡¯s when the producers caught wind of the boy's talent. Given that the duo was directors of the 2014 ¡®The LEGO Movie,¡¯ both of them know a thing or two about the animation style.
