Siegl was in the city to attend an investors' conference and stopped by the restaurant to enjoy some local food.
Taking to Instagram, Vidyarthi Bhavan said they were ¡°happy and proud¡± to have him as a customer.
¡°We were happy and proud to have Mr. Zev Siegl, Co-founder of Starbucks at Vidyarthi Bhavan today evening. He enjoyed our Masale Dose & Coffee and expressed it in our Guest book as well,¡± they wrote.
Zev Siegl leaves a note for the eatery
Siegl also left a note for the eatery. It read, "It was an honour to enjoy your famous food, coffee, and warm welcome. I will take this wonderful experience with me back to Seattle." Siegl drew a doodle of a steaming coffee cup with three stars on it.
Siegl co-founded Starbucks, an international chain of coffeehouses, in 1971. He served as a vice president and director until his departure from the company in 1980. He now works as a start-up consultant and business advisor.
The post has gone viral on social media. People couldn't control their excitement after seeing the Starbucks co-founder drinking filter coffee.

"Co-founder of Starbucks coffee drinking namma filter kaapi," another person said.
"Now, we might see filter coffee in Starbucks too," a third person wrote.
"Nice! I guess he has realized what real coffee tastes like!!" another person quipped.
