A Ukrainian couple got married in a bomb shelter as Russian forces continued shelling and launched a full-scale invasion in the country.
Despite the smoke and the sound of sirens in the air, the couple made sure they found a glimmer of happiness in these tough times.
A Belarusian media organisation shared pictures from the wedding ceremony that showed the newlywed couple Klevets and Natalia Vladislava surrounded by their loved ones as they tied the knot.
In the post, the bride holds flowers in her hands, while the groom signs documents while wearing his uniform. The couple is also seen having a little celebration as people near them hold bread loaves. Meanwhile, officials in Ukraine confirmed that Russian soldiers had taken over and captured the southern city of Kherson. The city of Kherson fell under Russian control on day 8 of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has also blocked social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter in the country for allegedly spreading fake information regarding the Russian invasion.
