What A Jugaad! Viral Video Shows Men Turning An Old Saree Into A Rope

It is always a good idea to reuse and recycle, especially given the fragile state of our planet's well-being. In fact, all of us should actively participate in ensuring that we are contributing towards making the world a better place to live in.
Now, since India is a country whose motto is 'jugaad', along with the efficiency of it all, this video which has surfaced on the internet is a great brain tickler.

What follows is the other man fastening the pieces of the saree to some hooks which are attached to a contraption on a motorcycle.
The man works the machine and the saree pieces entwine together to turn into a strong rope.

The location of the video is unknown but ever since it was posted on the microblogging website, it has been viewed almost 33,000 times with 2,500 likes and hundreds of retweets.
People took to the comments section to praise the men's creativity of using an old saree to make a rope.
One user wrote, 'That¡¯s an inventive spinning wheel. I¡¯ve made ¡°yarn¡± from fabric scraps before. I used it to make a hat.'
Another commented, 'Wow!!! That¡¯s something!! Never thought that you could make ropes from sarees. But then where our imagination stops, their¡¯s take wings!!'
