Taking Inspiration From Animated Film 'Frankenweenie,' Woman Transforms Her Dog Into Skeleton For Halloween
Katrina Short, a pet groomer by profession at Classy Canines Wiggle Rumps, has used her skills to transform her poodle into a spooky-looking skeleton.
Halloween is around the corner and people around the world have already started doing bizarre things to their hair, face, and overall appearance. But one woman from California decided to transform her beloved canine instead of herself for this year's Halloween.
Katrina Short, a pet groomer by profession at Classy Canines Wiggle Rumps, used her skills to transform her poodle into a spooky-looking skeleton.
The dog named Zeus Zebradoodle received a dye job and some neat and accurate trimming from Katrina, who said she was inspired to do so after watching the animated film ¡®Frankenweenie.'

¡°I recently watched a movie with my kids called Frankenweenie. Once I got the idea, I could not sleep until I made it happen. I did research on the anatomically correct skeleton of a standard poodle. The bones I carved out are exactly where they should be,¡± Katrina was quoted by Unilad.
The results are impressive, to say the least. The dog actually looks like it has worn a skeleton costume, the type which was seen in the Karate Kid film in the '80s.

Katrina said it took several hours to create the look she wanted, adding Zeus was totally unphased by the experience.
¡°He loves the attention he gets and gets kind of sad when he is not creatively groomed,¡± she said.
Katrina posts pictures of her grooming work on Instagram regularly. She currently has more than 25,000 followers on the photo-sharing app.

But not all types of grooming attempts are considered to be fun. If spray paint is used on a pet dog, the deed is nothing less than animal cruelty.
In September, a stray dog in Malaysia was found painted in black and orange colours leaving it resembling a big cat. Following the incident, an animal rights group in the country wanted people to come forward with information about the poor canine.
