IPL 2025: 'Leave 300, try 200!' 每 SRH trolled by fans after failing to bat 20 overs vs DC
Against Delhi Capitals (DC) in Mtch 10 of IPL 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were bowled out for just 163 in 18.4 overs at the Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday afternoon.

Ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, many predicted that Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) would surpass the 300-run mark this season. They came close against Rajasthan Royals (RR), scoring 286 runs. However, since that game, the team has struggled to even reach 200.
Against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), SRH managed 190 runs, and now, against Delhi Capitals (DC), they were bowled out for just 163 in 18.4 overs at the Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday afternoon.

SRH's batting collapse
SRH's innings got off to a disastrous start with Abhishek Sharma being run out due to a misunderstanding. Mitchell Starc then tore through the top order with a triple strike, dismissing Ishan Kishan at third man, Nitish Reddy with a reckless slog to mid-on, and Travis Head, who once again fell to his Aussie counterpart.
Amid the collapse, Aniket Verma launched a fierce counter-attack, partnering with Heinrich Klaasen to revive SRH's hopes. The duo put together a quickfire 77-run stand off 40 balls for the fifth wicket. However, the resurgence was short-lived as Klaasen's dismissal triggered another slump.
Kuldeep Yadav capitalized on the opening, claiming three wickets, including the prized scalp of Aniket, who played a valiant knock of 74 off 41 balls. Starc returned in the 19th over to mop up the tail, securing his five-wicket haul and putting DC in a commanding position to chase down the target with confidence.
