IPL 2025: Michael Clarke supports Rohit Sharma amidst his poor form this season, says 'it's just a matter of time'
Amid all this, Clarke, according to a PTI report, has shut the critics up and said that he is not concerned about his form, as Sharma needs one decent inning to regain his mojo, and he is not far from it.

Ahead of Sunday's Indian Premier League 2025 match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC), former Australian skipper Michael Clarke has backed Rohit Sharma despite his poor form this season.
With Rohit Sharma scoring 38 runs in four matches, the MI batsman has faced significant scrutiny for his underwhelming performance. Moreover, he also missed MI's last match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru due to a knee injury, but he will be available for today's match against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Amid all this, Clarke, according to a PTI report, has shut the critics up and said that he is not concerned about his form, as Sharma needs one decent inning to regain his mojo, and he is not far from it.
What did Michael Clarke say about Rohit Sharma?
The report further mentioned that Clarke thinks Rohit is an absolute superstar, and it's just a matter of time before he scores a hundred, and it's just going to take just one decent inning for that.
"It might be a 40; it might be a 60. He'll get momentum, and then, you know, you'll see the best of Rohit Sharma. I wouldn't be too concerned about his form," Clarke was quoted as saying by PTI.
Rohit Sharma's last few years in the IPL are a major concern for MI
In the last few years of the IPL season, Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma has become a major concern for MI, as he crossed the 400-run mark only once in the total nine seasons so far.
This season, Hitman has unfortunately failed to cross the 20-run mark so far. However, the 2015 World Cup-winning skipper believes that Rohit's class is permanent, as everyone has high expectations from the great players like him.
He said, once he gets the momentum, people will get to see the best of him. "He'll get momentum, and then, you know, you'll see the best of Rohit Sharma. I wouldn't be too concerned about his form."
