According to a recent report by Kotaku, the most anticipated game of all time, GTA 6 by Rockstar Games, is expected to be released on or before October 28, 2025. Moreover, Rockstar has officially confirmed a Fall 2025 launch, hence the latest report narrowing it down to a more specific timeframe.

Grand Theft Auto is anticipated to launch on October 28

According to the report, the game will not be delayed into 2026, as Take-Two Interactive's Strauss Zelnick earlier told IGN that the company continues to stand by its current fall 2025 launch window.

GTA 6 is arriving sometime in late October, the Kotaku report mentioned. The date October 28 is the last Tuesday of the month, a month in which Rockstar has historically released a lot of its biggest games.

The report also mentions that the earlier speculation of GTA 6 getting launched in September may not be the case, as fall starts on September 22 and the next day Borderlands 4 launches, so September month is out. And this leaves October and November, when historically the Call of Duty arrived, and GTA 6 is likely to outsell this year itself.
