It Is Only August And We've Already Used The Entire Year's Worth Of Earth's Resources
We know it's not the end but the end is near people. This is for all of humanity living on the planet earth. Without realizing we have consumed 2018 earth's resources. Let's celebrate this day which is called the Earth Overshoot Day.
We know it's not the end but the end is pretty near. This is for all of humanity living on the planet earth. Without realizing we have consumed 2018 earth's resources. Let's celebrate this day which is called the Earth Overshoot Day. And if this does not make you think, we're not sure what will!
How does it feel to have consumed all the resources in just seven months?
What is Earth Overshoot Day? It is the day when we, humans have consumed more resources from nature than our planet earth can regenerate in the entire year. In economic terms, today humanity goes into ecological deficit spending and sadly. Every year, this date moves higher up in the calendar - which means that we exhaust our reserves sooner every year.

The world today is using up resources 1.7 times faster than they are being renewed.
What have done? Well including overfishing, overharvesting forests, and releasing more CO2 into the atmosphere than ecosystems can absorb, it is our collective blatant ignorance towards the environment.

It is high time we take major steps and start loving our planet. This is a wake-up call and very soon, we might run out of those too.
We presently consume the resources of 1.7 Earths every year.

A dark day, but an even darker truth . August 1, 2018 marks the day where the human race has overused the natural resources of this planet, and also polluted it simultaneously. As of today, we have used 1.7 times more resources than the earth can regenerate. #EarthOvershootDay pic.twitter.com/c96HlNxLLp
