Jamie Foxx recently recounted his harrowing near-death experience, revealing hie suffered a brain stroke. Earlier, an internet theory had suggested that Diddy poisoned him, and he called the FBI on him which led to the now-disgraced rapper's arrest.
Jamie Foxx has finally shed light on his 2023 health scare in his Netflix special What Had Happened Was... and no, Diddy did not poison him. During his Atlanta set, the Oscar-winning actor and stand-up comedian joked that Diddy¡ªwho is currently locked in Brooklyn's jail since his September arrest on numerous charges, including sexual assault, racketeering, and sex trafficking¡ªpoisoned him, and as a result, he had to call the FBI on him, which promoted the hip-hop mogul's arrest. While Foxx was just adding a comic touch to his special with a Diddy mention, his joke sparked many conspiracy theories on the internet, especially due to the mystery surrounding his illness.

Detailing his near-death experience in his new Netflix special, Foxx shared his startling ordeals as he struggled to hold back tears. The actor and comedian shared he suffered a brain bleed and stroke, which led to a mystery illness that forced him to opt for an emergency surgery.
"Your life doesn't flash before your face, it was kind of oddly peaceful," he confessed, recounting the medical emergency that unfolded while filming Back in Action with Cameron Diaz.

¡°I say this all the time, I saw the tunnel, I didn¡¯t see the light, ¡° he continued. ¡°It was hot in that tunnel. I thought, s--t, have I gone to the wrong place? I looked at the end of the tunnel and I thought I saw the devil saying come on¡ or was that Puffy?"

He also put the internet rumours to rest, joking about speculation that Diddy was behind his hospitalisation "The internet was saying that Puffy was trying to kill me. I know what you're thinking... Did he?!" Foxx quipped, before adding, "Hell, no!" He even threw in a playful jab at Diddy's infamous parties, saying he left early because things looked 'slippery'. ¡°I left them parties early. I was out by 9, something don¡¯t look right, n-----. It looks slippery in here!¡±

Elsewhere in his Netflix Special, Foxx shed light on his diagnosis and how without swift medical intervention, he risked losing his life. He then also went on to impersonate Denzel Washington, Dave Chappelle, Mike Tyson, Jay-Z, and President-elect Donald Trump.
