About the Steel Ball Run manga
Written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki, Steel Ball Run is the 7th major story arc in the Japanese manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Apparently unrelated to the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, the first 23 chapters were serialized under the title Steel Ball Run in Shueisha's sh¨nen manga magazine Weekly Sh¨nen Jump in 2004. Though it appears to be set in a different continuity from all of the previous arcs, Steel Ball Run was formally revealed as the seventh arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure when the series transferred to the seinen manga magazine Ultra Jump in 2005.
