This Chemistry Teacher's Jugaad For Memorising The Periodic Table Is The Best Thing Ever!
Video of a chemistry teacher using jugaadu hindi mnemonic devices to make remembering periodic table easy for students is going viral.
Studying with mnemonic devices makes life a little easier at school. For those of us who could never remember the positions of the planets we used ¡®My Very Eager Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas.¡¯ Sometimes students made their own jugaadu mnemonic devices to remember things.
But the method this Chemistry teacher uses is the best thing ever.
One of the most difficult part of being a science student is to memories even the first 30 elements of the periodic table. (Been there, not done that). But for future students that part has been made easier by this teacher whose video is going viral. Not just easy, his technique is pretty hilarious too.
The video that is going viral on Twitter is a snippet of a longer Youtube video in which Ajay Yashpal can be seen teaching his students an effective way of memorising the D and F blocks of the table.

So for the row 'Sc Ti V Cr Mn Fe Co Ni Cu Zn,' Mr Yashpal creates a sentence from each letter. 'Suno, tum vivah karlo mujhse, phir koi nahi kahega janu,' he says in the video.
For 'Y Zr Nb Mo Tc Ru Rh Pd Ag Cd,' he uses 'Yeh zindagi nahi mohabbat tumhari ro ro kar pukaregi aaj chandni.'
The longer video is from some time ago. But with students and teachers being forced to take online classes because of the pandemic, it has become viral again probably because it continues to help students.

I just wish my chemistry classes were this entertaining.
