The latest trend on social media is advising people to forget the extra luggage bag and fit all their small essentials in a multi-purpose fishing vest. Though the vest is hardly a fashion statement, people are adding it to their airport arsenal to save some extra bucks before boarding a flight.
An influencer on social media shared her experience of using the fishing vest for travel purposes. User @CheapHolidayExpert announced in a clip that was about to ft all her essentials in a sighing vest and save some cash on travelling by plane as she stood in the middle of an airport.
She explained how she was on a journey to try different packing hacks. So, before checking in for her flight she decided to try the fishing vest method. The influencer informed her audience that she bought the vest on Amazon for about 10 Euros (over Rs 1,000).

She was already sold on the idea as she explained how she fits most of her essential stuff in the various pockets provided in the fishing vest. She says she stored her gym kit, her passport, a portable Bluetooth speaker, a game of cards, a power bank, AirPods, a purse, her bikini hidden in a secret side pocket of the vest, and a deodorant.
However, these pockets were not the best part of the vest. According to the Tiktoker, the best part of the vest was a back pocket that was perfect for carrying her laptop freeing up quite a lot of space in her main bag. This hack allowed the influencer to check in for her flight with easy. She wore it over her jacket, just in case the security at the airport got suspicious about the vest.
Afterwards, she revealed that the hack in fact worked and she did not have to pay any extra bucks for luggage, making the new hack quite a plausible choice for flyers. The only thing they have to worry about is the looks they¡¯ll get from confused strangers.
