Japanese Jugaad: Video Of Man Wearing Jacket With Built-In Fans Goes Viral
Japanese man's jugaad to beat the heat takes the internet by storm. He adds two fans to his jacket and uses them to cool him down during work.
Japan is truly a country living in the future. Whether it be the best nightlife or the world¡¯s best countryside, Japan has aced every checklist for being one of the most bucket-list-worthy countries in the world. Now, it seems like the Asian country is beating Desis at their own game and coming up with ingenious jugaad ideas to beat the heat.
Man's Summer Jugaad With Built-In Fans In Jacket Goes Viral
When it comes to creating makeshift solutions to everyday problems, no one can beat Indians and their marvellous wit. However, a new video going viral on Twitter has Japanese jugaad giving Desis a run for their money.
In the clip going viral, a man, who is likely a police officer of sorts, is seen directing people towards the right in what is presumably a park. Many tourists and locals with cameras hanging from their necks roam about the area while the man wears a jacket and hat during the hot hours of the day.
To escape the boiling heat of the country and still wear his uniform, the man comes with an ingenious jugaad.
Within his jacket, he has two fans attached to each side of his back. The fans help circulate air inside his jacket, which would otherwise be a whirlpool of heatwaves and uncontrollable sweat.
While showing directions to the people at the scene, the man¡¯s jacket blows up as air fills up inside it. He hilariously resembles the balloon man seen at gas stations while flailing his hands like the puppet seen on the streets.
Japan is seeing the rapid spread of work clothes that aim to protect against heat. The fans attached to the clothes suck outside air, evaporating sweat, thereby releasing heat through vaporization and cooling the body

India Also Has Its Own Jugaadu Antics
Japan is not the only country where citizens are trying to beat the unruly weather. One man fed up with the water-clogged streets of Delhi came up with his own jugaad to beat the water-filled streets.
In the clip that went viral a few weeks ago, a man is seen holding onto a leaf blower. He uses the leaf blower not on a disarray of leaves but puts it to use in order to get rid of the water on the streets and save his feet from getting wet.
The recent monsoon showers in India have left all locals stumped. As water levels rose, the streets of Delhi and NCR were seen turning into canals, with water filling every inch of the roads. This made commuting impossible for most. So, the man¡¯s clever jugaad to blow away the water before stepping foot on the concrete might not be the most bizarre approach to walking on Delhi streets.
