Bengaluru: Passengers Take Tractors To Reach Airport As The Roads Outside Remain Flooded Due To Heavy Rain
Following a heavy downpour, parts of Bengaluru airport were flooded. Passengers had to take the help of a tractor to commute between entry and exit points.
The heavy rainfall on Monday brought the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru to a standstill.
The roads leading to the airport were waterlogged due to heavy rainfall, making it difficult for the passengers to reach the airport. The airport received around 93mm of rain in just a few hours, flooding areas near the pick-up and drop points inside the airport premises.
