'Just a brainless, clueless management': Shoaib Akhtar criticises Pakistan team's skill set, says made abnormal people captain

After India's beautiful win against Pakistan on Sunday, a shocking video of former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar surfaced on the internet, and he is visibly disappointed with Pakistan's team.

Shoaib Akhtar took to his X (formerly called Twitter) to share the video. As team Pakistan suffered a devastating 6-wicket defeat to arch-rivals India in Dubai, Akhtar said he knew this was going to happen because of the selection decisions made by the management, and he is not disappointed at all.

While speaking in the video, the former Pakistan bowler said that people are saying that he is very disappointed with Pakistan's loss on Sunday, but that's not the case at all. He said he was not disappointed; instead, he already knew this would happen.

The world is playing with six bowlers, and the current Pakistan team couldn't even manage five, he questioned. "You go with all-rounders¡ªI don't know what you are thinking. Just a brainless, clueless management," he stated.

Shoaib Akhtar questions the poor management

Shoaib Akhtar continued to say that the team has brainless, clueless management, and that's the reason that he is disappointed. The way the management is, the players are the same.

They have no idea what needs to be done. Moreover, the intent of winning is one thing, but they do not even have a skill set. The former pacer added, "They just went there to play without any clue about what needs to be done.¡±

Apart from the X video, the bowler also spoke on a Pakistani TV channel after the loss, where he said that if he wasn¡¯t getting paid, he wouldn¡¯t even speak about it.

"If you make abnormal people captains and allow strange people to come in, this is what will happen," added Akhtar.
