Following her death, a close friend shared with OSEN that they last saw and spoke with her at the end of last year, when she was preparing to return to acting with the movie Guitar Man. The friend mentioned that Kim had been planning to start acting again and recently also changed her name to Kim Ah Im.

"The last time I saw Kim Sae Ron was at the end of last year. She was preparing to return with the movie Guitar Man, and we talked about how she would start acting again and finally make money¡­ I never imagined this would happen. Kim Sae Ron recently changed her name to Kim Ah Im," the friend told the outlet.

The actress also planned on opening a cafe

Kim had exciting plans ahead, including opening a caf¨¦ with her friends, a venture she was passionate about. Her friend shared that she had previously gained experience working at a caf¨¦ while filming but, unfortunately, had to quit due to her demanding schedule. Additionally, Kim was also preparing for a new chapter in her life, as she was set to move to a new place.

The friend added that there were no signs of the actress going through anything, adding, 'There were no signs of anything being wrong. I even told her to call me if she was struggling."
