Kang Ji Yun focuses on 'important things' after resigning from Peoplez
After resigning from Peoplez, Kang Ji Yun takes time off and enjoys moments with her boyfriend Yoo Eun Ho and his daughter Byeol. For someone as much of a workaholic as Ji Yun, it was her first time in years waking after 10 am and eating chips on the sofa in the morning, but with Eun Ho by her side, she was happy to do nothing.
Meanwhile, her rival Kim Hye Jin is arrested for investment fraud and scheming against Peoplez, leading to a restoration of public trust in Ji Yun.
New beginning for Kang Ji Eun!
Kang Ji Yun's freewheeling days after short lived. After enjoying a few days as baeksu (unemployed), Ji Yun decides to start from the beginning after being approached by her former contacts with potential opportunities for being the ace of her field that she was. She sets up an office at her house and gets ready to rebuild her own company. This time, without investments.
What happens to Yoo Eun Ho's job?
Since Kang Ji Yun was no longer the CEO of Peoplez, Yoo Eun Ho also lost his job as her secretary. Although Hye Jin offers him a job, he outrightly refuses it, proving his loyalty to Ji Eun and Peoplez. He also gets an offer from his previous company, Hansu Electronics, but he rejects that offer as well, saying there's another place where he needs to be.
He then goes to Kang Ji Yun's apartment-cum-office to once again prove his skills as her secretary at her newly established company. But she refuses his services and instead asks him to be her first candidate, landing him a job that's tailor-made for him.
What happens to Peoplez employees?
After Careerway acquires Peoplez, all the employees submit their resignation to Hye Jin despite not landing any other opportunity. Though scared of unemployment, they decide to stand by their former CEO and refuse to work under Hye Jin owing to her fraudulent practices.
After setting up her new company, Kang Ji Eun invites all her former employees to her house for lunch and offers them to work for her, just like the old times. Ecstatic by the news, they accept it without even going through the proposal. At the lunch, Byeol also comes up with the name of the new organization¡ªwe company, representing 'us.'
What happens to Woo Jung Hoon?
Woo Jung Hoon, the former CTO of Peoplez and the youngest son of a chaebol, also puts down his paper. After a confrontation with his elder son's widow, Chairman of Woomyung Group and Jung-hoon's father, Woo Chul Yong, comes to the sudden realization and feels scared of losing his only family¡ªhis youngest son, Woo Jung Hoon. He soon unblocks his card and asks him to return home. The father-son duo then shares a heartfelt meal, and Jung Hoon decides to join his father's company but adheres to his own style of working.

Woo Jung Hoon and Jeon Su Hyeon finally address their unspoken feelings for each other. After Woo Jung Hoon confesses his long-held emotions, Jeon Su Hyeon accepts his feelings, and they begin dating, marking the start of their romantic relationship.
