As with each month, the Korean Business Research Institute has unveiled its brand reputation rankings for advertisement models for May. Based on big data collected from April 2 to May 2, the rankings reflect a comprehensive analysis of consumer behavior.
The institute measured each model's brand value by evaluating participation, communication, media presence, and social influence to calculate their overall brand reputation index.
Byeon Woo Seok
The actor is currently gaining massive popularity from Lovely Runner, maintained his position at No. 1 for May. He earned a brand reputation index of 1,589,864, continuing his reign at the top for a seventh consecutive month.
Lee Jung Hoo
Baseball star Lee Jung Hoo made a powerful debut on the list, claiming the second spot with a brand reputation index of 1,403,456, reflecting his rising influence both on and off the field.
Lim Young Woong
Trot sensation Lim Young Woong ranked third in the May brand reputation rankings, earning a brand reputation index of 1,380,881. His steady popularity across age groups and platforms continues to reflect in his commercial influence.
Son Heung Min
Football icon Son Heung Min secured the fourth position with a brand reputation index of 1,280,053. His consistent performance both internationally and domestically keeps him among Korea's most marketable stars.
Cha Eun Woo
ASTRO member and popular actor Cha Eun Woo secured the fifth spot with a brand reputation index of 1,038,112, continuing his streak as one of Korea's top advertisement models.
