Laurene Powell Jobs, the wife of late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, is all set to attend the Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. On Saturday, Laurene Powell Jobs was seen offering prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi. Steve Jobs's widow performed the 'pattabhishek' at Maha Kumbh on Sunday.
Laurene Powell Jobs has also been given the Hindu name 'Kamala' by the Niranjani Akhara, a revered organization of saints. At the temple in Varanasi, Powell Jobs worshipped Baba Kashi Vishwanath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and performed a jalabhishek' (offering water to a deity) ahead of the Maha Kumbh that has kicked off today.
In the video, she is seen wearing a pink suit and a white dupatta wrapped on her head at the temple, and several police personnel were deployed for her security. For the next three weeks, the 61-year-old philanthropist will listen to the story of Kailashanand Giri Maharaj of Niranjani Akhara and will follow the rules of ¡®Kalpavas¡¯ for 10 days.

Maha Kumbh begins as devotees take a holy dip in Prayagraj
Maha Kumbh commenced in Prayagraj on January 13, Monday, as a large gathering of devotees took a dip, ¡®Shahi Snan,¡¯ at Triveni Sangam on the auspicious occasion of Paush Purnima.
At 3:20 am, devotees took a holy dip at the bank of Triveni Sangam, a sacred junction of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. Maha Kumbh is a 45-day-long festival that started today, January 13, and will continue until February 26.
