This year, Williams is celebrating Christmas, keeping in touch with loved ones despite being far from the Earth. Sharing the festive spirit, Williams wished a 'Merry Christmas' to everyone. The video showed a glimpse into the unique experience in space. The video also showed the crew members, wearing Santa Claus caps, who gathered around a small Christmas tree.

Sunita Williams sends Christmas greetings
In the video, Williams is seen saying that they are having a great time up in space, and this time they are spending time with all of their family on the International Space Station.
Then she talks about the joyous moments and the things she liked on the occasion in space. She says the best thing that she liked about Christmas was the preparation, getting ready, and everyone getting together to prepare stuff to enjoy the day.
Williams can be seen wearing a red t-shirt and a reindeer headband while the other three of her colleagues wore Santa caps; also, they placed a Christmas tree beside them.
SpaceX Dragon capsule delivered holiday gifts
While sending the Christmas greetings, another astronaut noted that they had a lot of food delivered to the space station on Christmas. Moreover, a SpaceX Dragon capsule delivered several important supplies and holiday gifts to the orbiting laboratory.
Sunita Williams and astronaut Barry Wilmore embarked on their Boeing Starliner spacecraft journey in June this year, and it was supposed to be an eight-day mission.
