Author Suhel Seth, who was also on board the flight, later tweeted that all passengers continued to be in the aircraft which had been on the tarmac for more than four hours after the emergency landing.
The flight, which departed at 9.55 am, was supposed to arrive at London's Heathrow airport at 3.10 pm. It landed at Bucharest around noon (local time), following which the passenger was rushed to a hospital.
So far, we do not have any further updates on the patient's condition, but let us hope that the crew's vigilance and prompt response has resulted in her making it through this ordeal.
