A day after the Garena Free Fire announced its new update of Free Fire OB47, PUBG: Battlegrounds also dropped a new update, making major changes in the game's Sanhok map. Check out the new updates and add-ons.
After Garena Free Fire launched their new update on Wednesday, PUBG: Battlegrounds has just dropped a new update and made a major change to the game's Sanhok map.
As the holiday season is about to begin, the PUBG Corporation does not want to miss a chance to keep the excitement alive among the PUBG players. The latest update is going to be big for Sanhok; the map has been both popular and controversial and was originally introduced back in 2018. The new change adds far more destructible terrain effects, immensely expanding the number of tactical choices available to the players.
The regular players of PUBG: Battlegrounds manage to stay relevant in the game despite the huge competition. Moreover, PUBG as a game tries to evolve as a game as it is not the top battle royale game.
A look at the PUBG: Battlegrounds Sanhok Map update
As per the new update of the game, players can now actually get to shoot through the walls, take damage from collapsing items, or get cut on glass.
The entire update adds a new strategy for players: they can now navigate their way around the map and find fresh ways to deal with other players and situations.

PUBG: Battlegrounds ¨C Update 33.1
According to the PUBG: Battlegrounds version 33.1 patch notes, the Sanhok map's destruction effects look quite similar to the Rondo map when PUBG Update 29.1 was launched back in April 2024.
With multiple key structures, Sanhok can now be destroyed with explosive weapons such as grenades, rocket launchers, mortars, and the Red Zone effect, which saturates areas with artillery fire.
Along with this, the building's destructibility will depend on their constructions, while the trees can also be destroyed by explosives, making the jungle cover more dangerous for players to camp behind.
ItĄ¯s time to celebrate your chaos, because Sanhok is becoming a destructible map!
