Many expected the star to return at Money in the Bank to cost Seth Rollins, his bitter foe, a chance at winning the marquee ladder match that did not happen. This may have been done to set the stage for ¡®The OTC¡¯ to return on the upcoming episode of Raw as a surprise entrant in the King of the Ring tournament, which kicked off on the red brand on June 9.
Roman Reigns to appear on WWE Raw next week?
The King of the Ring tournament got underway on this week¡¯s installment of WWE Raw. Sami Zayn advanced to the semis with a win over Breakker, Penta, and Dominik Mysterio in a fatal-4-way. The first round qualifiers will continue next week with a fatal-4-way featuring Rusev, Bronson Reed, Sheamus, and a mystery participant. The surprise entrant may turn out to be Reigns.
The former ¡®Big Dog¡¯ is a powerhouse much like the other combatants, which makes him a good fit. Moreover, if he comes back and qualifies for the finals, he will compete at Night of Champions and add more star power to the Premium Live Event(PLE). This would also help him enter the World Heavyweight/ Undisputed championship scene in time for SummerSlam. Winner of the tournament will receive a shot at the top tittle of their respective brand at the ¡®Biggest party of the summer¡¯.
