Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, has caused an upheaval on social media after he decided to drop some new military pics on Sunday. The new carousel post features as many as 12 new photos of the singer, most of whom which have him flexing his gains. However, it's his adorable goofy side that has once again managed to swoon fans.
BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, is now a sergeant in the military. The K-pop superstar recently sparked a social media frenzy by sharing an update on Weverse, where he introduced himself as Sergeant Kim and interacted with his devoted fans, the ARMYs. Additionally, V also surprised fans with a new Instagram post, where he dropped never-before-seen pics showcasing his impressive physique and adorable side.
V sends social media into a meltdown with unseen military pics
BTS fans are going wild after V shared a series of photos from his time in the military. In the carousel post shared on Instagram on Sunday (February 23), the Winter Ahead crooner is seen enjoying various moments, including holding a bouquet, showing off his fresh haircut, having a blast with a friend at a photo booth, flexing his ripped muscles after a workout, and posing next to a snowman.
In his post, V wrote, "Sergeant Kim has come to report that he's alive! It's D-107." He also mentioned that after the harsh winter passes and he takes care of his body in the warmer spring, he'll be back to see his fans in good health.

Before dropping his new photos on Instagram, the Christmas Tree singer interacted with fans on Weverse, announcing, "It's Sergeant Kim. Are you doing well?" Responding to him, one fan mentioned, " Sergeant Kim please upload a handsome photo of your face, we miss you on seeing you."
V then replied, "Um... are you okay with an older photo?" When the fan shared a picture of himself flexing his biceps, the singer cheekily wrote, "Um, how long ago is this? Your phone seems a little vintage!"

V is set to be discharged from the military in June
V will be discharged from the military on June 10, 2025, alongside fellow member RM. This marks a significant milestone for the BTS members, who have been serving their mandatory military service since December 2022.
