A video has gone viral showing a 13-year-old boy being caught by a traffic cop. The cop requests the young boy, who is riding a scooter without a helmet, to park his ride on the side.
In India, the legal age to drive a motor vehicle is 18. In addition, the motorist must have a valid driver's license to drive in public. Teenagers, on the other hand, frequently act brave when riding two-wheelers alone, without adult supervision.

A video has gone viral showing a 13-year-old boy being caught by a traffic cop. The cop requests the young boy, who is riding a scooter without a helmet, to park his ride on the side.
He then instructs the little child to contact his parents, to which the boy requests the policeman's phone so that he can call his father.
The policeman kindly asks the boy why he is riding the scooter, to which the boy responds that he will not do so in the future. The officer informs the youngster that he will contact his father and fine them under the law.
Internet quickly pointed out the 'casual' attitude
All the while, the small youngster appears curiously calm and continues to chew gum. The internet were eager to point out the boy's 'casual' demeanor.
An X user commented on this video, saying, "Chewing gum gives a different level of confidence!!" Call me, sir!" Another person commented, "Chewing gum is more important than challan." Someone speculated, "I think his dad is a politician."
Vivekanand Tiwari, a traffic officer, uploaded the footage on Instagram. It has received over 16 lakh likes since it was posted on January 22.

Earlier in January, journalist Sagay Raj P posted a video on X depicting a small youngster managing the steering wheel of an SUV while sitting on an adult's lap in the driver's seat.

Sagay Raj P named the Bengaluru City Police and the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) in the incriminating video, stating that it was taken near the MG Road Metro station. He also provided the vehicle's registration number.
An X user commented on this video, saying, "I see so many children at the wheel on the Bangalore-Mysore Expressway. The parents appear to be really proud. Accidents happen, people die, and they blame the government and the police."
Another individual said, "Such idiots should not own a car, let alone have a child. That is one deadly car and a terrible combination here." Later, it was revealed that the Cubbon Park Traffic Police punished the vehicle's owner under the Motor Vehicles Act.
