Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's grand consecration event for the Ram temple on January 22, passengers, donned in attire resembling Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Lord Hanuman, and Lord Lakshman, arrived at Ahmedabad airport.
These passengers were boarding IndiGo's inaugural flight to Ayodhya. Prime Minister Modi opened the Ayodhya airport last month.
With the newly constructed Ram Temple set to open its doors on January 22, the holy city will soon welcome thousands of pilgrims to the shrine.
The widely shared video shows four travellers dressed as Hanuman, Lakshman, Sita, and Lord Ram at Ahmedabad airport.
Members of the airline personnel were spotted giving the passengers candy prior to the aircraft departing for the holy city.
