Surreal footage shows a pianist calmly playing 'Eternal
Flame' as anti-lockdown rioters start fires and clash with police in Barcelona.
The video was uploaded by a busker (street musician) on Instagram, following Saturday night's furious demonstrations against new lockdown rules in the Catalan city.

The violence erupted after prime minister Pedro S¨¢nchez declared a state of emergency and imposed a nationwide curfew between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am on October 25, with people only allowed to leave their homes for essential journeys.
In the video, explosions go off and youths are seen hurling rocks at police vans, while the pianist plays the 1988 Bangles hit with the famous lyric: 'Is this burning an eternal flame?'
In the footage, a large group of people can be seen running towards a police car on a near-empty street, and pelting it with various objects ¨C including a set of metal railings ¨C as it attempts to drive away.
Two police officers can also be seen nearby on bikes, one of whom is pushed off the bike by a rioter before being attacked and pushed to the ground.

A woman recording the video from a building above can be heard screaming "Oh my God" as she watches the terrifying events unfold.

Spain¡¯s prime minister, on Saturday, condemned a series of violent protests in cities across the country, against restrictions imposed to curb the surge of COVID-19.

Demonstrators pelted police with rocks and other projectiles in Barcelona, in the second night of disturbances in Spain¡¯s second-largest city.
In the northern Spanish city of Logro?o, about 150 people attacked police with stones, set fire to containers and looted shops, police reported. Riot police were drafted in to quell disturbances in Haro, in the wine-growing region of La Rioja.

Earlier, local police said about 1,500 hotel and restaurant workers took part in a peaceful demonstration against restrictions imposed under the state of emergency which they claim will threaten their jobs. All bars and restaurants have been closed in the Spanish region of Catalonia, which includes Barcelona, until November 13.
