Bengaluru Man Shares Heartwarming Story Of A Swiggy Delivery Agent; Netizens Join Hands To Help

How often do we share a few minutes and talk to the delivery guy who fights even the worst possible weather to deliver your favorite food to your doorstep? Rarely do we take time out to notice the real battles that people around us are fighting.

A Bengaluru-based man, Rohit Kumar Singh, shared a heartwarming encounter with a delivery agent.

In an elaborate Linkedin post, Rohit shared how a delivery guy reached his home after a long wait. However, he was stunned to see him 'graciously smile' with his order in hand. There is another thing that Rohit noticed. He wrote:

"When I opened the door - I saw a person graciously smiling at me with the order in his hand. Mid 40's, grey hair, trying to balance himself with crutches & smiling at me; I was numb for a second & feeling stupid for getting impatient sitting on my comfortable bed. In my head, I wondered what all the struggles he had to go through to get this order to me. I immediately apologized to him and tried to have a conversation. "

Rohit added that Krishnappa had to go through a lot during the pandemic. In the post, he added,

He lost his job at a cafe during the pandemic and has since taken on the role of a delivery boy (quite graciously). He has three children, but due to financial constraints, he has been unable to send all of them to Bangalore for a better education. His superpower comes from getting up in the early morning to working the entire day, tirelessly defying all the odds. "

"We had this conversation for over 2-3 minutes & suddenly he said - "Sir, I am getting late for my next delivery." Krishannpa left, leaving behind so many questions that is really hard for me to answer."

Rohit Kumar Singh concluded his post by urging people to help Krishnappa Rathod.
