Bengaluru Hotter Than Mumbai And Delhi, Internet Is Done With Bengaluru Weather Praise
Bengaluru, once known for its lovely weather with sunny skies and a gentle breeze, is now under scrutiny like never before. The 'Garden City' is already roasting at over 38¡ãC, approaching the April record of 39.2¡ãC set in 2016.
Bengaluru, once known for its lovely weather with sunny skies and a gentle breeze that murmurs across the streets, is now under scrutiny like never before.
Bengaluru is now hotter than Mumbai and Delhi
In the middle of the city's biggest water crisis in decades, temperatures are climbing to historic levels, giving angry citizens even another reason to complain. The 'Garden City' is already roasting at over 38¡ãC, approaching the April record of 39.2¡ãC set in 2016.
This tragic turn of events is disappointing for the millions of migrants brought to Bengaluru from other Indian cities by the promise of better weather.
After all, the reality isn't as rosy as expected, reigniting the age-old Bengaluru vs. Mumbai debate, with the internet eagerly taking sides.
And, let's be honest, Mumbai appears to be winning this time around, as Bengaluru's heatwave 'outshines' Mumbai's hot, humid summer, offering plenty of material for online criticism hurled at the city and its former weather enthusiasts who boasted of its superiority.
This is how the internet reacted
Notably, Bengaluru's warm nights have surpassed the temperatures of Delhi and Gurugram. Meanwhile, while Karnataka was one of the first Indian states to suffer heatwave conditions this summer, primarily in its northern portions, other parts of the state are now bearing the brunt of the sweltering weather.
Here's what the internet is saying.

Last Tuesday, Bengaluru's midday temperatures reached 37.2¡ãC, making it the second warmest day in nearly a decade.
However, there may be some good news for Bengalureans. The IMD (Indian Meteorological Department) predicts rain for April 10 and 11. It is unclear whether these showers will provide reprieve from rising temperatures, but they should provide some optimism in the midst of the burning sun and oppressive heat.
