Beware Of Fake Donation Links Claiming To Collect Money For Pulwama Martyrs
In the aftermath of the tragic Pulwama terrorist attack that claimed the lives of 44 Jawans fake pictures videos and now links for donations have been doing the rounds on social media. The FAKE message reads that the Narendra Modi government has now launched a new scheme exclusively for battle casualties and weapon purchase. They also wrongly say that the fund was launched Bollywood actor Akshay Kumars initiative.

In a series of screenshots, a Twitter user said that forwards are using Akshay Kumar's name to get citizens to give money for the families of the martyred soldiers.

The user went on to tag PMO to check the veracity of such messages using the incident as a ploy to generate income.

The most trusted way to contribute money is through the government portal, Bharat Ke Veer. You may also use Paytm website or app and locate the CRPF Wives Welfare Association and pay the amount you want to donate.
Always donate money through authenticated websites only, lest it ends up in wrong or undeserving hands.
