Here Are Some NGOs Aiding India's Fight Against COVID-19 And How You Can Donate
We wanted to point out a few of the organizations that are chipping in to help. While the government has been struggling to provide adequate medical supplies for hospitals, these organizations have directly brought resources to the front lines, donated proceeds and supplies, or helped prioritize vulnerable patients.
As India battles an acute oxygen emergency and hospitals put out SOS alerts on social media amid a massive spike in cases, changemakers and individuals on the ground are helping desperate and helpless families hit by the deadly virus.
We wanted to list a few of organisations that are chipping in during this crisis. While the government has been struggling to provide adequate medical supplies for hospitals, these organisations have directly brought resources to the front lines, donated proceeds and supplies or helped prioritise vulnerable patients.

1. Ketto (Mission Oxygen- Helping Hospitals Save Lives)
Location: Pan India
Ketto, the Indian online crowdfunding platform, is working to help hospitals across the country get immediate access to oxygen concentrators. They are providing affordable treatment to patients suffering from COVID-19 and also offering free dialysis programme for the poor.

2. Hemkunt Foundation
Location: Mumbai, Gurgaon
The Gurgaon-based NGO Hemkunt Foundation has been tirelessly working on the ground to ensure immediate help to critical Covid patients by providing oxygen cylinders.
Volunteers of the organisation have also started conducted 'Free Oxygen Cylinder Drive Thru' with the priority being given to patients with low oxygen levels.

3. Khalsa Aid
Location: Pan India
One of the world's largest and renowned non profit humanitarian organisation, Khalsa aid is actively involved as India fights the mounting health crisis. The NGO is providing oxygen concentrators for free to COVID-19 patients who are in home isolation in the national capital.

4. GiveIndia

GiveIndia is also creating and delivering 5000 emergency ration kits to those who do not have ration cards or cannot access government benefits in Mumbai. The initiative is known as 'Lockdown 2.0 - Mumbai Needs You'.

Location: Delhi
Milaap is undertaking food support programme and delivering food to covid patients isolated in different parts of Delhi. The NGO is also providing 1000 food packets to homeless people daily.
