In the video, Musk can be seen entering the Twitter office building with a sink in his hands. A full ceramic wash basin! The video features Musk in an all-black attire, carrying a white ceramic sink, as the video proceeds, Musk enters the office and places the sink on a lounge seat. In the 9-second video, you can hear Musk smiling and saying, "You can't help but let that sink in." The video is posted with the caption, 'Entering Twitter HQ ¨C let that sink in!'
Changed his bio to 'Chief Twit'
After the video was released by Musk on his official Twitter account, he also changed his Twitter bio. He wrote, 'Chief Twit.' All this happened days ahead of a court-ordered deadline to close his $44 billion deal with the social media platform.
On October 26, Elon Musk said that he was entering Twitter Inc.'s San Francisco office and Twitter confirmed. Despite Twitter's confirmation that Musk would visit the San Francisco office this week, the company didn't disclose any further details.
Elon Musk to acquire Twitter
Musk announced his $54.20 per share bid, Twitter initially resisted the deal by adopting a poison pill and later sued the world¡¯s richest man after he announced plans to abandon the offer on concerns about spam accounts on the platform. After six months of a dramatic back-and-forth, Musk finally decided to move forward with his original $44-billion offer. Co-investors who agreed to contribute money to the Twitter deal were informed by the CEO of Tesla Inc. that the deal would be completed by October 28.
As per reports, banks have begun to send $13 billion in cash to support Musk's acquisition of Twitter as a sign that the deal is on well on its way to being completed, most likely by the end of the week.
