Elon Musk responds to Jennifer Lopez getting emotional at Kamala Harris rally: 'The public sees through it'
After Jennifer Lopez became emotional while endorsing Kamala Harris at a rally on Thursday, she faced criticism related to her past with P Diddy. In response, Elon Musk remarked that "the public sees through it," suggesting that celebrity endorsements for the "Kamala puppet" won't have any significant impact.
In a rally on Thursday, Jennifer Lopez joined the chorus of celebrities backing Democratic nominee Kamala Harris for President, passionately condemning Donald Trump and expressing her emotions over jokes about Puerto Rico, where she is from, at his rally. Now, Elon Musk has weighed in on the situation, asserting that "the public sees through it."
At a rally in Los Angeles on Thursday, Jennifer Lopez passionately endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris while taking a strong stand against former President Donald Trump.
As a proud Puerto Rican-American, she condemned Trump's divisive actions, stating, "Trump has consistently worked to divide us. It wasn't just Puerto Ricans that were offended that day. It was every Latino in this country. It was humanity and anyone of decent character."

Lopez's remarks were aimed at comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who derogatorily referred to Puerto Rico as an "island of garbage" during a rally for Trump.
She passionately stated, "I am Puerto Rican, and yes, I was born here, and we are Americans," adding, "I like Hollywood endings. I like when the good guy, and in this case, the good girl wins."
Tearfully supporting Harris, Lopez declared, "It's time for us to show up for her."
Following her heartfelt remarks, however, Lopez encountered criticism as many questioned her intentions, particularly in light of her past relationship with P Diddy, who is currently facing sexual harassment allegations.
One user on X pointedly remarked, "Kamala's endorsements feel like one big Diddy party, don't they?"
Another viral post, which garnered over a million views, shared Lopez's video and reminded followers that actors are "professional liars."
People often forget that celebrity actors are professional liars. Literally. Their success is often tied to the believability of their lie. That's what acting is. These people are paid to convincingly endorse Kamala. They are paid to do their job. pic.twitter.com/Ie9IvDjAiT

In response, Tesla CEO Elon Musk made a statement calling Harris a 'puppet,' saying, "Even if everyone in music and entertainment supports the Kamala puppet, it won't matter. The public sees through it."
