He stated that "internal appraisals" are a "joke" in most Indian organizations, and that if employees believe they are "underpaid," they should consider "switching" employment without "overthinking."
What did the engineer share about being underpaid?
"Hard truth: Switching jobs is the only way to reach high salaries," commented Saini on X.
He went on to say that if you started as a software engineer with a low pay, you should surely "switch jobs to reach a high salary".

Saini went on to say, "If you start with a low salary, switching jobs gets you much more salary hikes!"
Why are employees underpaid according to the engineer?
The engineer also criticized internal appraisals and promotions, claiming that they are "very low" and "broken".

He claimed that "salary is as important as good work. If you are underpaid, it is your fault." Saini closed his post by stating that people should only move employment if they truly believe they are "underpaid," as "greed has no cure."
