Braving the winter chill, thousands of farmers including women, children and elderly from different parts of Punjab, Haryana and U.P. have assembled at Delhi's borders and are sleeping in the open to take on the Centre against its new farm laws. The government has asked farmer organisations to list complaints and points related to agricultural laws and share them in writing by Wednesday.

The next round of talks between the government and these organisations will be held on December 3, in which these points will be discussed. However, the farmers made it clear that their agitation would continue till their demands were met.

Students from various universities in Delhi have joined the farmers' protest at Singhu and Tikri borders and expressed solidarity with them in their fight against the Centre's new farm laws.
