He noted that Indians contributed 5.2 billion entries to GitHub projects and mentioned the creation of 108 million new repositories in 2024.
Dohmke also added that Indian developers are increasingly harnessing AI technology, positioning the country as a potential hub for the next major AI multinational: "India's developers have gone a leap further: they're increasingly using AI to build AI.
