'Still Stand With Farmers': Greta Thunberg Responds To Delhi Police FIR Against Her
In her new tweet, she has written: 'I still #StandWithFarmers and support their peaceful protest. No amount of hate, threats or violations of human rights will ever change that. #FarmersProtest.'
Update: Initially, it was reported that Greta Thunberg was booked in the FIR for lending her support to the ongoing farmers' protest in India. However, an official confirmation from Delhi Police has claimed otherwise. According to the force, nobody has been named in the FIR.
Praveen Ranjan, Special Commissioner of Police (CP), Delhi Police, said, "We haven't named anybody in the FIR, it's only against the creators of toolkit which is a matter of investigation & Delhi Police will be investigating that case."
"Preliminary enquiry has revealed that the toolkit in question appears to have been created by a pro-Khalistani Organisation Poetic Justice Foundation. A section of the documents titled "prior action" delineates the following action plan," he said.
Teen climate campaigner Greta Thunberg is known to express her views on things that matter and this time, the ongoing farmers' protest in India has finally caught her attention.
However, right after she extended her support to the agitated farmers, According to an India Today report, Delhi Police filed an FIR against the teenager activist and charged her with conspiracy and 'promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language and acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony.'
But that has not budged the young woman from her stance even one bit and she posted a new tweet on the microblogging website in support to the farmers. In her latest tweet, she has written: 'I still #StandWithFarmers and support their peaceful protest. No amount of hate, threats or violations of human rights will ever change that. #FarmersProtest.'

Farmers have been protesting against three of the Centre's laws and despite several attempts which included everything from violence to barricading the borders, their spirits have not come down even one bit.
