'Dumped As If It Was Rubbish': Horse With Legs Tied Together Left By The Road To Die
A horse was found dumped and left to die at the side of a road in Buckinghamshire. Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is investigating the matter and has criticised those who dumped the horse.
How difficult is it to understand that people who cannot take care of pets or cattle should not keep them in the first place. In another case of people abandoning animals cruelly, a horse was found dumped and left to die at the side of a road in Buckinghamshire.
A stranger found the poor horse, her legs tied together, at the gateway to a field in Twitchells Lane, Beaconsfield on February 1.
Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is investigating the matter and has criticised those who dumped the horse.
"It is very upsetting for everyone involved when animal bodies are dumped so callously like this as if they were rubbish," Mirror UK quoted Inspector Jaime Godfrey, who is investigating for the animal welfare charity, as saying.
"She was not microchipped so we don¡¯t know where she has come from, or who did this to her, so we¡¯re appealing to the public to share any information they may have about how she died and and who dumped her,¡± he further said.
What¡¯s shocking is that horses being dumped in not uncommon, and most of these incidents leads to the death of these poor animals.
It is difficult for charities like RSPCA to cope because of over-breeding, the high costs of vet bills, the rising cost of hay and feed.
People should send their animals to shelter if they can no longer take care of them, abandoning them and leaving them to die is cruel, inhuman and despicable.
