The Ig Nobel Prize is a satiric prize awarded yearly since 1991 to celebrate ten unusual or trivial achievements in scientific research. It aims to "honour achievements that first make people laugh, and then make them think."
India and Pakistan also won the 'Peace' prize for 'having their diplomats surreptitiously ring each other¡¯s doorbells in the middle of the night, and then run away before anyone had a chance to answer the door'.
