Jaypee Greens offers free Lamborghini worth Rs 4 crore with purchase of Rs 26 crore villa: 'What could go wrong?' asks internet
Jaypee Greens has launched a luxury villa project in Noida, priced at Rs 26 crore, and each purchase comes with a Lamborghini Urus which itself costs between Rs 4.18 crore and Rs 4.57 crore. However, many have pointed out that even with the "free" Lamborghini, the builder could still be making over a 50% profit margin given the steep price tag.
Most people dream of saving enough to buy a house or a car, often taking on huge loans to make it happen. But imagine this: what if buying a house came with a free luxury car? Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, it's real! Jaypee Greens has announced a housing project in Noida that includes a Lamborghini with each villa purchase, and, honestly, we're just blown away.
Gurgaon-based realtor Gaurav Gupta recently posted on X (formerly Twitter) about a luxury villa project in Noida priced at Rs 26 crore, which offers a Lamborghini with each villa purchase.

The Lamborghini Urus alone starts at Rs 4.18 crore, with the top model priced up to Rs 4.57 crore.
The project, by Jaypee Greens¡ªan upscale division of Jaypee Group¡ªincludes villas, luxury apartments, and a Greg Norman-designed golf course.
However, Gupta later clarified that the Rs 26 crore price tag doesn't cover additional costs like Preferred Location Charges (PLC), parking, and other fees.
Forgot to add 26 Crores don't cover PLC, Car Parking and Other Charges ? https://t.co/l6ubEArdtq pic.twitter.com/8R9vKnzVMU

Notably, Jaypee Greens, part of Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL), has faced serious legal and financial issues.
In 2017, Jaypee Infratech (JIL), a subsidiary, went into insolvency due to unmanageable debt.
This launched a Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), during which homebuyers were granted status as financial creditors by the Supreme Court, giving them recovery rights.
Additionally, Jaypee Greens has been involved in lawsuits over property delays and contract issues, adding to the ongoing legal complications.
How did people respond?
In the comments, reactions were wild.
One user joked that the villa-Lamborghini offer seemed like a strategy cooked up by lawyers.
So now for relief buyers would have to go to RERA for flats and consumer court for the car, looks like a scheme pushed by lawyers

Another pointed out that for the same price, you could easily build five villas and buy a Lamborghini.

Another commenter emphasised that, even with a "free" Lamborghini, the builder is likely making over a 50% profit margin.
Car cost is already included and builder is still making more than 50 percent in margin ?
