Man Cycles 26 Km Blindfolded As Part Of Fit India Movement, Creates New World Record
Jeet Trivedi is a third-year automobile engineering student from Bhavnagar who rode 26 km on a bike from Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar to Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad as part of Fit India Movement.
A lot of people did that but what was different about Jeet Trivedi was that he had a blindfold on throught the journey. Apparently, Trivedi has also skated on a road for nearly five kilometres with a blindfold on while dribbling a basketball.
His cycling feat made into the World Records of India and he reportedly attended a workshop in Surat regarding the same. ¡°At that time I was curious. But that was six years ago. Since then I have been practicing regularly with a blindfold and I don¡¯t find it difficult as others may think,¡± DNA quoted Trivedi as saying.

He now teaches students how to sharpen their senses and also helps students who are partially or completely blind. He has a belief that when one of the senses is missing the others get heightened.
As for cycling he reportedly said, ¡°I first practiced for 10 km, 15 km and then I cycled today for 26 km.¡± He completed the journey in three hours.
¡°I didn¡¯t know the way from Gandhinagar to Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad. But since I had other cyclists with me they would tell me to turn left or right as and when needed,¡± he further said.
Well, I can¡¯t close my eyes and get to the kitchen of my house without getting injured, doing something like what Trivedi does is, unimaginable.
