Lucknow Youth Cuts Cake With Friends On Road & Leaves Mess Behind, Cops Promptly Make Him Clean It Up

Birthdays are special for everyone and people try to make their special day memorable by doing something exciting. Normally, one would try to celebrate it with family, and friends, go out for dinner or to a party. Some may even plan a special trip for the big day. A man from Lucknow, however, decided to take a different route.

He decided to cut his birthday in the middle of the road. But the day didn't as well as he had hoped because the police intervened in the celebrations. Here's what happened.

A young man from Lucknow decided to have a unique birthday celebration outdoors. He decided to cut his cake on the road, and the whole celebration created a mess. So much so that police had to intervene. Soon after, he found himself cleaning the road. Definitely not the birthday he wished for.

As per reports, the incident occurred Friday midnight when a group of five young men gathered at the 1090 intersection, at the I Love Lucknow sign to celebrate a birthday in the middle of the road. As expected the group smeared cake on the birthday boy and ended up creating a mess and a traffic hazard. Not just that they also apparently threw the cake at each other.

The Cops Make Him Clean It Up

The birthday celebrations caused traffic on the Lucknow road, and police had to be involved. Sudhir Awasthi, Gautampalli station house officer (SHO), was patrolling the area at the time when he noticed the mess on the street and decided to teach the group of young men a lesson in accountability.

The policeman made the birthday boy clean the cake, but not without lecturing him first. ¡°Ye tumhara ghar thodi na hai,¡± Awasthi can be heard telling the group in a video filmed by an eyewitness.

In the video, the youth can be seen scraping the cream off the road using a cardboard cake base. Four of his friends stood there and watched the man suffer. Following this, the inspector subsequently advised the group to act responsibly in public places and to use their money wisely.
