NASA's Hubble Telescope Captures Virgo Galaxy Cluster 52 Million Light-Years Away
NASA has discovered a dwarf galaxy 52 million light years away from Earth. The space agency posted it to Instagram and offered information about the galaxy. It captioned the post, "The @NASAHubble Space"
NASA's breathtaking space images never fail to captivate the public. Many of these articles, ranging from capturing a 'cosmic diamond' to enlightening netizens about star clusters, leave numerous individuals speechless.
The space agency has once again piqued people's interest with the discovery of a dwarf galaxy 52 million light years away from Earth. Yes, you read it correctly.
What did NASA's Hubble Telescope captured now?
NASA posted it to Instagram and offered information about the galaxy. The space agency captioned the post, "The @NASAHubble Space Telescope imaged this dwarf galaxy, which lives 52 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Virgo. The Virgo galaxy cluster is also home to some relatively dense gas, causing many galaxies like this one to live under the pressure it exerts, known as ram pressure.?"
They further informed, "Ram pressure from intergalactic gas can dramatically impact star formation in galaxies like this one. On one hand, the force can drive out gases and dust that lead to star formation, slowing or stopping star production entirely. Conversely, the pressure can compress these star-forming ingredients, boosting the formation of new stars.?"
How did people on the internet react?
