Not English But Math Lessons From Shashi Tharoor To Donald Trump
US President Donald Trump is all set to visit India on February 24. His tour is expected to start from Sabarmati Ashram after a 22-km roadshow from Ahmedabad airport. The rally in honour of Donald Trump will be called Namaste Trump and the 45th US president believes it will spoil him.
Do you recall the times when your 'America wale mamu' visits and your parents literally go out of their way to make sure everything is done perfectly? Alag hi obsession hai with us impressing people from the west.
So, since US President Donald Trump is all set to visit India on February 24, preparations for his arrival are being done in full spirits. His tour is expected to start from Sabarmati Ashram after a 22-km roadshow from Ahmedabad airport.
According to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also partake in the roadshow which will end at the cricket stadium in Motera.
The rally, in honour of Donald Trump, will be called 'Namaste Trump' and the 45th US president believes it will "spoil" him since he is under the impression that 10 million people will be present to greet him.
"Prime Minister Modi said, we will have 10 million people greet you. Here's my problem. We have a packed house. We have a lot of people, thousands of people that couldn't get in. It's going to look like peanuts from now on. I'll never be satisfied with the crowd," PTI quoted Trump as saying.
"If we have 10 million people in India, how can I be satisfied when we fill up like a 60,000 seat stadium? Am I getting spoiled? He said build a bigger stadium visit," he said.
Well, this does not come off as any sort of surprise to us since we are all very well aware of the former businessman's fondness of exaggerating things. We say that because Congress leader Mr Shashi Tharoor was quick to point out the flaw in Trump's statement.
Someone better tell @realDonaldTrump that th entire population ofAhmedabad¡ªevery man, woman&child, incl those too old&sick to greet him¡ª doesn¡¯t add up to 6 million. He¡¯s in for a great disappointment, unless he repeats his creative crowd counting on InauguralDay &adds a few zeros! https://t.co/s2oU1OsiR8

Tharoor tweeted out that even if the entire population of Ahmedabad, including every man, woman and child showed up at the 'Namaste Trump' rally, they cannot make up for more than six million people.
Well, like we already know Indians 'going out of their way' to impress Ameekans, maybe people will actually come in from different cities to witness the rally. You just never know with us!
