At the 2024 Oscars, Ryan Gosling and Mark Ronson sang their Barbie hit "I'm Just Ken." Gosling began the performance from his position in the crowd behind co-star Margot Robbie, dressed in a hot pink, bedazzled suit with matching leather gloves.
Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ncuti Gatwa, and other Barbie film Kens joined Gosling on stage, dressed in tails and top hats. Slash also made a special appearance throughout the show.

It is also a remark on patriarchy and the impact of feminism. America Ferrera, Michael Cera, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, and Will Ferrell round out the supporting cast.
