Born in Luxembourg to a British father and German mother, his website says that he is ¡°a native speaker of English, German and Luxembourgish as well as a fluent speaker of French, Spanish and Portuguese.¡±
He himself posted his video with the caption, ¡®From Dalton to Washington, here's my coverage for @AP_GMS of last week's events in French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Luxembourgish, in that order¡¯.
Just in two days the video has received over two million views. Here is how some people reacted to it:
Good lord that is amazing. His German sounds, well, native. Can anyone tell me if his French and Spanish is that accent-free as well?

I speak both Spanish (lived for 13 years there) and German (native tongue) and wow, zero accent. Probably took lots of training and it shows.

Crazy as it sounds, Americans would tell him to speak English since he¡¯s in ¡®merica.

Very cool! Also interesting how the pitch of your voice changes up or down depending on the language. Never really thought of that as a language dependent thing. Or maybe it just depended on the person you were speaking to ?

Talking of reporters on camera, last year, an incident with a TV reporter named Diego Demarco took place in Argentina and the video of the same went viral. He was preparing to launch his live broadcast for the channel when a man snatched his phone and ran away quickly.
The video was posted on YouTube where Demarco was seen getting ready to go live, covering for the channel 'El Vivo El Nueve'. A man came in and grabbed his phone just as he was adjusting his mask and turning slightly away from the camera.
According to a report the incident took place at 8:49 am on October 20 in a residential area situated in the capital, Buenos Aires. In the video he can be heard shouting in Spanish, ¡°Give it to me. My phone is stolen.¡±
He asked passersby and neighbourhood residents for help. They can be seen rushing in the direction of the thief.
After sometime the people were able to find the thief and Demarco¡¯s phone was returned to him. He was apparently very thankful to the residents.
Some amazing, some bizarre things happen with and to reporters on camera, this is just one example.
