Coronavirus and the resulting social distancing that seems to have become the new norm of the world, has changed a lot of things. From the way we shop for clothes to the way we dine in restaurants, and even the ways we have fun in public spaces. Even though it seems like by the end of 2021 most people will be vaccinated against the coronavirus, for things to go back to pre COVID days, it might take time.
To keep things running while maintaining social distancing, contactless transfer of funds has been one of the major take backs of COVID times.

Gift cash was digitally exchanged by those who were unable to attend the wedding in person.
"About 30 persons had used the facility and gave cash as their wedding present," IANS quoted T.J.Jeyanthi, mother of the bride as saying.
¡°This is the first time such a thing has been attempted in our family,¡± she said. After the wedding invite went viral, the family has gained attention of many people and been getting a lot of phone calls.
¡°I have been getting many calls on this. Similarly, my brother and others in the family have been getting lots of calls since Monday morning,¡± said Jeyanthi.
While this seems to be a brilliant idea to follow social distancing in a wedding, restaurants across the world have been doing this for a while. For example in Italy, the physical paper menu was scrapped, instead people were supposed to scan a QR code which allowed them to see the menus in their phone.
The same has been happening in many restaurants in India as well.
