Robot Rickshaw Puller Built By Surat Students Ready For The Roads
Four Surat students created a robot that can walk like a human and even pull a rickshaw. It only required 30,000 rupees and 25 days. This outstanding accomplishment has been trending on social media.
Robots are becoming more and more prevalent in various industries and fields such as manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and even in our homes. With advancements in technology and artificial intelligence, robots are becoming more capable of performing complex tasks and adapting to different environments.
While there are concerns about job displacement and the ethical implications of using robots, many experts believe that robots will ultimately benefit society by improving efficiency, productivity, and safety. A group of students from Surat made one; have a look.
Surat Students Made A Rickshaw Puller Robot
With their new robot, a group of four Surat students have made a significant advancement in the technology sector. A robot that these students created can walk like a human and even pull a rickshaw. This cutting-edge robot was developed with the goal of expanding its functionality so that it can be used in different fields for various purposes.
It only required 30,000 rupees and 25 days. This outstanding accomplishment has been trending on social media sites and elsewhere.
One of the students involved in the project, Maurya Shivam, explained that the robot's design was based on a thorough examination of human legs and gait. He added that successful tests for its use in walking on roads had been conducted.
¡°This is our prototype which we have tested on the road. And this is not completed yet, work still remains to be done on its leg, hand, head, and face. We have tried to create it as same as how a normal human walks," he told PTI.
The inventiveness and talent of these young students are demonstrated by this robot. They anticipate that the additional functionality they plan to add will allow the robot to be eventually utilised in a variety of fields and for a variety of purposes.
Additionally, it serves as a powerful illustration of how robotics has the potential to improve society. Although this robot is still a prototype, the potential is encouraging.
Another Advanced Human-Like Robot Is Being Developed
This is not the only robot out there capturing Internet users' attention. Boston Dynamics stunned everyone earlier this year with yet another demonstration of their cutting-edge humanoid robot, Atlas.
Atlas is renowned for its exceptional dynamic capabilities, and its smooth movements never cease to astound viewers. In their most recent showcase, Atlas is seen skillfully lifting large objects and even flipping them over.
In the video, a construction worker is shown using a hammer while on top of a building when he suddenly realises that he has left his tools below. Fortunately, Atlas comes to the rescue.
Quickly reaching for a wooden plank, the humanoid robot clears the way for the worker to descend. Atlas rushes to deliver the tool bag to the worker after bringing it back. Upon making the delivery successfully, Atlas casually flips over and, to top it off, pumps its fist in jubilation at the soft landing.
