Bihar: Train Ticket Collectors Kick Passenger Ruthlessly In Vicious Video

Travelling by train is usually one of the simplest ways to get around the country. But such is not always the case. Things went south in a train passing by Bihar¡¯s Muzaffarpur when two ticket collectors pounced on a solo traveler.

Video Of Train Ticket Collectors Hitting Passenger Goes Viral

The video of the incident quickly made its way onto the internet and shocked users. In the clip, a ticket collector is seen pulling a passenger's legs. Another ticket collector quickly joins the first to bring down the man who was protesting to step down while sitting on the train's bunk bed.

The two collectors end up ruthlessly dragging the guy to the ground and then violently beating him up. They kick the passenger in his face with their boots several times until other passengers decide to jump in and save the passenger.

The Incident Erupted After The TCs Found Out That The Passenger Was Travelling Without A Ticket

According to NDTV, the incident took place on a train from Mumbai to Jainagar while the train was at Dholi station on January 2nd. The fight started because the passenger was travelling without a ticket and refused to cooperate with the ticket collectors. Although the passenger was at fault too, the authorities deemed it fit to suspend the two ticket collectors for viciously attacking the passenger and misusing their power in the situation.

People online had divided opinions on the matter; while many were against the TCs, there were some who thought that passengers who travel without a ticket should also be punished in some way or another.

While a commenter pointed out how the ticket collector had put aside his ID card before attacking the passenger, "ID card utaar ke lada hai. Personal level par nothing related to Railways now."
